BAHAMAS BOOKSTORE FEATURES PATHFINDER PRESS BOOKS
To commemorate The Bahamas’ Emancipation Day August 1, 2021 this new bookstore in Nassau featured Women’s Liberation and the African Freedom Struggle by Thomas Sankara as one of three book giveaways.
The bookstore focuses on books about Black history and culture. Many Pathfinder Press titles can be found on their shelves and on their website, Black Food Bookstore & Culture Shop.
Emancipation Day, a holiday celebrated throughout the Caribbean, marks the end of slavery in the British Empire in 1834.
